The word from Vodafone to its staff is they expect 1 in 6 sales before Christmas to be the new Research In Motion Blackberry Storm. Vodafone is expecting to launch the BlackBerry Storm in days, but has been struggling to make sure all of its stores have sufficient stock for a co-ordinated launch.

For the launch of the RIM BlackBerry Storm at Vodafone’s flagship store on Oxford Street, Vodafone has signed up Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton.

The BlackBerry Storm will be free on a Vodafone twenty-four month contract for £35.00 per month and the “talk” option brings 250 texts, 700 minutes with the choice of either unlimited calls to other Vodafone numbers or unlimited calls to landlines.
