NFL Games goes wireless on Sprint Phones Today

Under: Mobile Games, News Date: November 6th, 2008

Good news if you like Sprint and NFL because the National Football League and Sprint have decided to team up for the ultimate relationship.

Now viewing NFL on the large screen is the best but the hopes are that fans will want to watch it on the smaller screens of their mobile phones, the Cleveland Browns vs. the Denver Broncos will be the first to broadcast on Sprint mobile phones, the deal is worth a staggering $500 million over five years.

Over the next few weeks (Seven to be precise) Sprint will phone-cast all eight games that are of course televised solely on the NFL Network, the Cleveland Browns vs. the Denver Broncos kicks of at 8:00PM ET.

You will need a Sprint TV-capable mobile phone and the Everything Plan (or a $15 per month add-on) in order to tune in, let us know what you think of this.
