Nokia XpressMusic 5610 has blackout issues: T-Mobile halts sales

The word is T-Mobile has put a halt on the Nokia XpressMusic 5610 due to complaints from T-Mobile customers that their display keeps going blank without any warning. So T-Mobile has pulled the plug on the Nokia 5610 so Nokia can figure out what is just going on.

It seems to be a problem that T-Mobile can’t figure out and neither can Nokia XpressMusic 5610 handset owners, so I guess it’s up to the spec and tech bods at Nokia to do their thing and try to locate the reason for the issue.

So far though no recall notice has been issued, they are simply not being sold at present. So if you happen to be an owner of a Nokia XpressMusic 5610, and you are experiencing these “blackouts” you’d best contact customer care to see your options.

I have one and have had problems from the very beginning. Started with not being able to get pics and now my screen goes black and white at different times. Guess I need to call Tech Support
