Now here’s a quick reversal switch, we have seen the HTC Touch HD’d TouchFLO 3D interface on the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1, and now it appears the XDA Developers have done a reversal job and ported the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1’s panels interface over to the HTC Touch HD.

These guys seem to love playing about with these two smartphones; the project is still in an early stage and the Panels button is absent along with a lack of buttons overall. A user can’t return to the Panels after making their selection and the Panels actually stop working after a soft reset.

But no doubt the XDA Developers will spend the time needed to get this problem sorted, after all the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 is just another Windows Mobile handset at heart.
