T-Mobile G1 OpenGL ES texture problem: Can you help?

A member over at the android community seems to have a problem with the Google Android T-Mobile G1 Cube Demos and textures. The member is trying to produce a game using OpenGL ES.

Apparently when using textures of their 3D shapes in the emulator all goes well, however when run using the T-Mobile G1 phone they get blank shapes without texture, and this happens to the entire official and professional example textured Cube Demos and whatnot.

Apparently when the member downloaded the application they saw a 2D textured cube on the Android Emulator but when testing the application on the G1 all they saw was a 3D white spinning cube minus any texture.

So I was wondering if any of our readers might happen to have the answer. So anyone out there like to help?

I hope the neocore demo is not prerendered. If it works then you should be able to get your code to work. Sorry I know that doesn’t help. I want to buy this phone but you don’t give me resolve.
    Good Luck
