Well that’s the question isn’t it? The use of the Apple iPhone’s virtual keyboard is an acquired taste, so like it others don’t. However, Sax Software has released their EasyWriter application for the Apple iPhone which apparently works wonders for email input.

EasyWriter places a wide keyboard on the Apple iPhone in landscape mode and has bigger keys along with more space between keys thus making typing your email message that much easier; and also supports the pinch and zoom interfaces to enlarge or decrease text size.

So with the EasyWriter application installed on your Apple iPhone the virtual keyboard is much simpler and easier to use. So now maybe the Apple iPhone can actually challenge the BlackBerry in the text input stakes.
