HTC Touch HD goes to Asia but still avoiding America

The HTC Touch HD is already available in the United Kingdom and Europe and now the HTC Touch HD has launched in the Asian Market taking in Singapore at $950.00 and Malaysia at $930.

This means those in Singapore will be shelling out an extra $20.00 which is due to an 8GB microSD being bundled with the HTC Touch HD’s retail package.

Journey west to the United States though and you’ll find HTC Touch HD hungry Americans still patiently waiting in the hopes that one day HTC will let the HTC Touch HD grace the US of A shores. Giggle…sorry it’s just that us Brits seldom get anything before the Americans.

    Harrumph.

I’m just worried that those of us on the left side of the pond will eventually get the Touch HD, but that it will have been modified to use Android instead of WM6.1. I know a lot of people are anxious to see more Android phones, but for those of us who have funds invested in programs that will only run on the Windows Mobile platform it would be very frustrating to lose out on this hardware.
