Nokia E71 replaces BlackBerry Bold at Orange

Under: News, Nokia
Date: November 13th, 2008

Orange stores will be seeing the Nokia E71 take the shelves because of the shortage problems and technical issues associated with Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Bold. Orange had placed a great deal of faith behind the BlackBerry Bold, making the handset their star contract handset, but has suffered problems revolving around its 3G connectivity.

Therefore, according to reports, Nokia retail staff have been told to stop pushing the BlackBerry Bold and switch to the Nokia E71 business mobile handset with its full QWERTY keyboard.

Staff have said the Bold has a data bundle of £5.00 however the Nokia E71 data bundle from slightly more expensive at £7.50, and another difference staff will be highlighting is the Nokia E71 offers a better spec camera than the BlackBerry Bold.
