RIM BlackBerry Curve 8900 goes stateside Q1 of 09

Under: BlackBerry, News Date: November 13th, 2008

With T-Mobile Germany just gaining the BlackBerry Curve 8900, then next obvious choice would be that the BlackBerry Curve 8900 head stateside, as they’ve already seen the BlackBerry 8320 and the word coming from Research In Motion is that the BlackBerry Curve 8900 will be hitting the States in the first quarter of 09.

One could look on the BlackBerry Curve 8900 as an alternative to the BlackBerry Bold, as the 8900 has its separate keys that many BlackBerry fans like, and even goes one better than the BlackBerry Bold in the camera stakes with a3.2 megapixel camera.

The only thing is I can’t figure out why the BlackBerry 8900 is taking so long to go stateside as it has passed the FCC and one would have thought RIM would have taken advantage of the approaching holiday season.
