Mobile phone use makes your dental fillings drop out?

Under: Mobile Phones, News
Date: November 18th, 2008

Here’s the latest mobile phone health scare, apparently now according to the latest study mobile phone use can cause the mercury filling in your teeth to drop out.

This new survey was conducted by the Shiraz University of Medical Sciences, and apparently what this study has found is that the metal mercury fillings in a persons mouth interferes with the mobile phones electro-magnetic radiation which is apparently made of a similar material.

This is simple yet another health problem associated with mobile phone use, but has it been proven? Does the survey give concrete proof this actually happens with constant use of a mobile phone? The strange bizarre logic with this particular article is that is claims mobile handsets could be recycled to be used as dental amalgam.

If you can show any scientific proof or published dental research by some dentists or dental university we would appreciate.
