Flash 10 on Android T-Mobile G1: Apple iPhone 3G to follow?

Under: Google Android, Phone Software Date: November 19th, 2008

We posted an article yesterday about Research in Motion’s BlackBerry not getting Flash and that Google were working on it right now. Well here is the evidence that Flash 10 will be coming to the T-Mobile G1 and we reckon we don’t really have that long to wait.

In the video posted below which is taken at the Adobe MAX conference, it shows the T-Mobile G1 with Flash 10 running on it, in the demo you see interactivity, full zooming and panning. We know that Windows Mobile has supported Flash Lite since OS version 5.0 and Apple iPhone as yet is unable to view Flash, although Adobe have said they are working on it. But BlackBerry may have to wait a hell of a long time due to Java support.

Although no dates have been mentioned for Flash 10 to officially launch on the Google android for the T-Mobile G1, it’s a very exciting prospect for us all, but in the meantime scroll down and watch the video.
