Google Android Phone penned by NTT DoCoMo & KTF

Under: Google Android, News Date: November 19th, 2008

The word is KTF Co, and NTT DoCoMo Inc is planning to launch a smartphone incorporating Google Android software sometime next year. Apparently the Nikkei business daily reported that Japan’s NTT DoCoMo are expecting to price this new android based phone as 20% below existing smartphones.

The NTT DoCoMo KTF Co collaboration if it actually comes about will be the first Google phone sold by South Korean and Japanese carriers. NTT DoCoMo happens to be Japan’s top mobile handsets carrier and owns ten percent of South Korea based KTF Co.

So it looks like the race to get the second Google Android mobile phone out is on, I wonder who will actually get their android out to the public first?
