Sometime next month Electronic Arts will release the classic game SimCity to the Apple iPhone. Apparently the conversion to the Apple iPhone is almost complete and SimCity for the iPhone will resemble the 3rd game in the series, SimCity 3000.
Happy iPhone gamers should gain access to new touch controls to do with zoning and zooming in and out of a certain area. In SimCity for the iPhone the gamer becomes mayor of their own town that they have to zone for business and residents, transportation, along with equipment and facilities for water and electricity.
The gaming skill comes into play by pleasing your citizens, coping with various disasters, , which range from real-world problems such as fire and flooding to fictional ones like giant lizards, and balancing finances. SimCity for the Apple iPhone should command a price tag of around $10.

It’s a great game, probably the best I’ve played on the iPhone so far. Just a shame it chews through the battery so fast!
