RIM BlackBerry Storm now with Verizon Wireless

Under: BlackBerry, News Date: November 21st, 2008

BlackBerry Storm hopefuls over in the States can now get hold of Research In Motion’s latest Blackberry baby on Verizon. The Verizon BlackBerry Storm is Research In Motion’s first touch-screen BlackBerry, and is set to target both consumer and corporate arenas.

The United Kingdom has already seen the BlackBerry Storm, but it is the US marketing that will make all the difference where revenue is concerned, and RIM are hoping the Storm will do exceedingly well.

The BlackBerry Storm is unique in its touch-screen due to utilising SurePress which provides a tactile click which responds accurately to the pressure of your touch, thus allowing you to navigate the menus with ease.

Verizon Wireless offer the BlackBerry Storm on several differing options, however the most popular is $199.99 after a mail in rebate of $50.00 and on signing a 2 year Verizon agreement.
