  1. I had a chance to try Storm and I must say iPhone is still a winner. Storm is the closest rival to iPhone though. The navigation on iPhone is unmatched. I fly quite often and now planes are offering Wi-Fi onboard so iPhone becomes a must have this single reason coz you can put iPhone to Airplane mode still access the internet on Wi-Fi.
MMS is not a feature anymore. iPhone can send picture through email by single click and also you can do live stream of pictures on iPhone which is better than any MMS. Taking panoramic picture on iPhone is out of the world. Storm is lag behind in every field. It just have two good things video recording and stereo bluetooth. iPhone is the leader.

So my brother wanted to get the storm on Friday but when we got there it was sold out. (i have an iphone) so i decided no to waste the trip and try out the storm and see whats so amazing about it, what i found out is that the Storm is a total joke… it kept freezing, apps wouldn’t open and camera takes 5 sec. to take a picture. So i asked the lady why does it keep freezing or apps dont open and her excuse was ” oh its being used all day by people” so i asked “so if i use my phone all day it will freeze?” and her answer was “well its being used by different people that might treat it bad” and i said “well at the apple store there is definitely more people and none of their phones have these problems…” and she basically just walked away. the whole button touch screen is not good because not only do u have to touch the screen you also have to press down with isn’t that easy it actually requires force and wasted time. So me, I’ll just stick with the iphone 2.2 witch after 2 days with the street view and pod cast I’ve amazed many people.

  3. jim says:

what choice do i have… the iphone is only offered for att and i would never use there network again. i have a friend that has the iphone and i cannot get reception anywhere near my home and their customer service is almost as bad.. i would love an iphone but until verizon can offer it i’m stuck with a phone that may be behind but its as close as i can get!!!

I’m sorry, it’s called they have a beta version of the software/firmware you idiot. They give them as the demo’s so they can get the product out faster. Trust me, I know this b/c I’m a programmer. It’s called debugging. You really think Verizon would sell their customer “shit” ? They declined a deal with apple, b/c the battery wasn’t replaceable, and the memory being a factor to pricing, and apple didn’t offer a good warranty so the customers would be screwed.

I do admit, the wi-fi is a plus. However, I have a laptop don’t really like to use the phone’s browser. My brother has the iphone and I think the safari browser makes it by far the best on the market. I would get the iphone however I am on the best network, Verizon :)… never lost signal anywhere, reliable is a plus. I do like the fact that the blackberry has removable sd cards up to 16g, a big plus! Removable battery, another big plus!

  5. Removable battery is definitely a plus for Storm coz you will keep on removing the battery. Nothing else you can do on Storm coz touch screen is jagged, slow and pokey.Stand by battery life is horrible.

Storm is only capable of displaying 56,000 colors while iPhone has over 200,000 colors. You will notice a stark difference when browse website with high color contrast like ESPN,BBC,CNN.

Verizon and Apple could not work together because verizon was not allowing Wi-Fi on iPhone and people who distrust Apple are fools. I am a SAP FICO consultant and I have Macbook Pro and I know no PC can ever match the quality of MAC like no blackberry can ever match the quality of iPhone.
like Hyundai can never match the quality of BMW.
I have BMW now pls dont say KIA is better than BM.

iPhone, Macbook Pro and BMW go well together.
Storm, PC, purchased for $299 from Wal-Mart on Black Friday, and KIA go well

Storm is not only a bad phone, its pathetic. didnt Blackberry test it before launching? Does verizon user know the spelling of Touch Screen? Have they even had a chance to experience the touch screen of iPhone? anybody who has eyes for detail would know how smooth the navigation is on iPhone.

I don’t know why Blackberry making removable memory an isuue…comeon guys, iPhone has 16 GB memory do you need more on a phone? and you don’t have to carry any stupid memory card with you. I got my first iPhone on 1st day of its launch and even today the battery lasts longer than a new Storm this is the reason why iPhone doesn’t have removable battery.

and one thing I can bet I will browse internet faster than any window based PC. Because most of the time PC user will pressing ALT+CTRL+DEL
iPhone has ability to copy the link of any website to home screen so you can visit the website just by taping it instead of going through bookmark, history or typing the URL.

Storm doesn.t have VOIP. What a shame??

It just brags about age old stale MMS. Which was a high tech feature during my grandfathers time but today there are many other features have come up.

Has blackberry been sleeping ? have you heard of live photo streaming ?? have you heard of accessing your laptop through phone? Have you heard of calling anywhere in world using SIP and SKYPE out right from your phone. Have you heard that you can access the internet in an AIRPLANE from an iPhone?

While developing this Storm developer and designer must be taking drugs. Black ..berry .what else you can expect?

  7. Its the user’s preference. Don’t forget the storm has 3.2 megapixel camera and video. The sim cards, so who cares if you have an extra 16gb of songs in your wallet!!! Also for people bitchin about the wi-fi, it’s not that big of an issue. 1st of all broadband is by far better than wi-fi… It’s always connected, never have to worry about hot spots. Stop being cheap and get the damn data plan (requirement for this phone and makes sense) and stop bitching about not having the wi-fi, you’ll be happy when you have lighning fast broadband connection 24/7 while as for the wi-fi, your limited.

iPhone = Limited in many different ways.
storm = not so limited, just no wi fi.

people need to google wifi vs broadband, then they will understand.

so is the iPhone a poor mans storm (preventing to get data plan) so thats why theres a big fuss about the “wi-fi”… screw wi-fi, most of the connections suck anyways!

  8. Again, another dummmass that says things without knowing the facts. You CAN connect via internet broadband using the storm you idiot. Verizon even includes software for this, and btw, my boss connected it yesterday to his laptop to show the comparison of our crappy dsl here at the office vs his lightning fast connection via his mobile phone! Also, the color factor is not that big of an issue, the storm has a higher resolution so it will compensate the extra colors!

As for everyone saying it’s “slow” that’s the beta / under development software that the verizon stores are carrying (not too smart b/c of idiots that assume this is the final product). I’ve seen the final release of both of them side by side and they are extremely close to the clock speed.

I’m sorry, it’s just iPhone owners being “defensive” over this new gadget that they probably are jealous about the added features.

I do admit that Verizon does need to work on the vz browser since it will need an upgrade for the future phones. Btw, they are currently developing a new release with multi-touch screen in mind…

So once verizon gets this out, the browser will hopefully be up to par with the iPhone.

I will have to give the storm a 5 star rating for innovation while being limited due to Verizon. But Verizon is the best network and the most reliable network.

I will have to give the iPhone a 5 star rating too for being an Apple product… btw I love apple stuff.

I’d take reliability and the storm over the stupidity of “iPhones got wi-fi”… Verizon’s 3g, mobile broadband people, research it. You have to have the data and email plan anyways to get this phone so take advantage of reliable connectivity (don’t be cheap and try to just get the wi-fi)!!!!! If you were to see how many more times the storm will connect (24/7) to the internet vrs having to find a hot spot… blackberry wins again!

  9. 3.2 Mega pixel camera???? many fools think quality of camera depends only on MP. If this is true then my 6 MP digital SLR is not as good as some cheap 8MP point and Shoot camera? grow up people.

iPhone camera is better than Storm even with 2 MP. ANd when see the high quality photos imported from computer , you will notice a stark difference. Photo look stunning on iPhone’s screen.

Storm user wont understand it they cant think beyond Mega Pixel. Blackberry can display only 56,000 colors iPhone is capable of displaying over 200,000 colors.

iPhone user also pay $30 as data plan so its not being cheap. Wi-Fi needed coz you cant VoIP capability without having Wi-Fi. Voip is rage today and going to be a basic need tomorrow. iPhone is futuristic.

You can’t access Internet in Plane without Wi-Fi.
But I know Storm user love to travel in local Bus any Storm goes well with bus.

And the added feature Storm has ?

Are you talking about MMS???? LOL

People of Afghanistan are so happy coz they have gota B&W TV they had never seen TV before. They dont know 1080 P Plasma or LCD TV, they dont know High definition so they are content same way poor verizon user are so happy to get MMS..wow MMS. Its a biggest joke just try iPhone you will be amazed to the breathtaking features.

Stupid people think Wi-Fi is just a substitute for 3G. I seriously mean these people are lacking knowledge of today’s technology.

I have 9 wireless speakers installed in every corner of my house and all the speakers are connected to W-Fi network and I control the music from anywhere in the house from my iPhone. You cant do this from Storm.

It seems that archeological department of US found it thats why it lacks all the new age features. But it has MMS…ha ha ha

Jess Price is talking absurd. He is saying dont be cheap….Cheap we are paying data plan too and buying apps for iPhone everyday.

He needs to understand Wi-Fi is not just a substitute for other connectivity. He has broaden the spectrum of this thinking.

Color contrast on Storm sucks big time.

Apple share price incresed by $12 coz of pathetic revies of Storm. but Storm has MMS…….it seems that developer of this phone took the time machine and went back atleast 10 years thats why they think MMS is great feature. And Storm users think that you can just access the internet on Wi-Fi as you can do on 3G

Jess says you can connect to internet using Storm. Who the hell doesnt know this?

It’s not about connecting you moron, its about doing things after connecting. You cant think beyond accessing the website, thats why you don’t have iPhone.
Hey people, you need to increase your knowledge don’t talk like dumb people as if you are from Iraq or something.
Once you have Wi-Fi you can control all the device in your home remotely. If you are watching a moving in the backyard and want to see the camera at your front door , you can this on iPhone over Wi-Fi.

  10. A villeger says:
    …Storm has MMS

    Storm has color screen …
it can play video too…wow what a high tech phone???
    wow what a phone ???

    LOL LOL LOL

    iPhone user says

does it have VoIP? can you voice chat with your frinds from an Airplane
Can you control your speakers from your Phone?
Can you do Live photo stream?
Can search the address in anywhere in the world by Voice command?
do you have 6,000 app ready to chose from ?

Can you generate music by blowing into your phone???

the villager says i don’t even heard of all these…but storm has MMS……

Before you start assuming your the only tough, smart programmer, know that i did ask if the phones were updated with the latest software, because i did hear there was a new upgrade on the day of launch and the store manager said yes we updated them this morning before store opening. so thats that.

Now i keep hearing removable battery, i don’t know about anyone else but i don’t really care if my battery can be removed because if it starts dyeing quicker all i have to do is go to an apple store and they give me a brand new phone
” not refurnished” so there, now i have my new battery.. other then that i don’t know why removable battery is so important.. i actually think its better because the phone is fully closed and there is no way of water getting inside it.. like when my friend dropped his iphone into my pool and sank to the bottom and worked fine after it was dried..
I cant believe you said apple doesn’t offer a good warranty!!! First you have 1 year (free) to replace your phone if you crack your screen, or any other phone damage unless it doesn’t look like a phone anymore.. Then if you cant figure out something like sending an email you could call apple and they take you step by step how to do it or even go to the store for 90 days. and thats all free.. now if you want to extend your warranty for $69 you can extend everything i said to 2 years till your subscription is up from AT&T aka: when most people decide to get a new phone. Most people would say “well thats what they say when they sell it then they find excuses why your phone cant be replaced” well my friend (same one that dropped phone in the pool) is on his 6th iphone in 1 year just for little stupid things..

  12. You didn’t understand why removable battery is important for Storm users ?

They will removing it everyday that is the only thing they can on Storm. That will keep them occupied. LOL

A donkey cannot run like a horse so he should not try to imitate otherwise he will break his legs.
That what happened to Blackberry they tried to emulate legendary iPhone and result is choppy, jagged navigation.

But hey one thing it has MMS…lol

  13. Alessandro Mannino says:

    LOL!!!

MMS: at first i did think it was going to be something i would miss.. but after 6 moths with my phone I’ve realized that i don’t really need it because if i have to send a pic i just send it to my friends email witch most can check from their phones or they have a computer within 50ft. and if they have to send me one the iphone lets you open pictures sent to you on safari or they simply know to just send it to my email..

  14. Mimi Jocelyn says:

I will buckle down and get an iPhone tomorrow. I’ve been waiting… And waiting… I thought iPhone, then nope… HTC Diamond Touch… nope… Treo Pro… Nope… Then, when BB announced that the Storm was AT LAST going to be released, I thought, yay!!! But then, they couldn’t hold one for me at Verizon. I am a travelin professional – I don’t care how much hype there is surrounding anything… if you want me to buy your stuff, you best have it available or make it really easy for me to get one.

I don’t need to give up my treo 750 now, but after the below average reviews on the BB Storm’s 1st generation… I think I’ll go with what’s proven to have kicked major booty so far. Hats off to Apple. They rule the universe as far as I am concerned.

Over to the Dark (or Light) side, I go. Too bad Storm. You missed your chance.

  15. Alessandro Mannino says:

Oh yeah and I totally agree with what you said about Wifi.. in the future, probably your all house will be connected to your home’s wifi and you will be able to control it from your iphone. like use your phone has a remote for you imac, or send pictures to a printer using wifi, home security or baby cameras, etc.

  16. Stan Duffy says:

Ok, I’ve read the arguments. iFanatics, chill. Let’s agree now that the Storm isn’t for you. Cool. Crackberry Lovers, relax you haven’t gotten an iPhone yet (depite all the Hype) because you’ve either tried your friends and were only mildly impressed or you wanted your tactical feedback.

I understand both sides of the argument. I believe the iPhone is a “Consumer” product. Something for the mass. That’s exactly how it’s marketed and targeted. Their feud with Micro$oft is public BUT M$ owns the Office. If you do business, it’s very difficult not to interface with some M$ product at some point, but you can completely avoid Apple if you wish.

For those that are very business oriented, RIM has established itself as the pioneer in Mobile Messaging. To do so they had to get in bed with M$ (no feud here). In doing so, their stuff works great with M$ products right out of the box. They also understood how important “cut and paste” are to the task-oriented user.

I’ll give Apple credit though, they’ve once again combined fantastic marketing with a fantastic consumer-oriented product and it’s caught on like gang-busters. Taking iPod and adding phone capabilities (come on that’s what they really did right) was brilliant. One less thing to carry in your pocket right? It then became so much more with the App Store. It’s easy to suck the consumer in with Games and such.

    So, what did I do???

I own an iPod Touch and a Storm (upgraded from both a Curve and AT$T). Why?

iPod Touch is an iPhone without the phone (the worst part of the deal because of AT$T). Did all the iPhone 3G pioneers remember the pain you had with the AT$T 3G network, especially at first. Most will admit that it’s still not that good. (Let’s face it, you need wi-fi on that network). So, I get all that Apple goodness without the AT$T headache. (iPod Touch has WiFi) Let’s face it, the folks at Apple know how to make a User Interface. So why not just get an iPhone and jail-break it (yes, I heard you in the back). Because I’m a bit old school and like to have some tactile feedback when I type. I simply can not get anything near “full computer keyboard speeds” with the iProducts. I’ve got big hands (I’m 6’2″) so maybe that’s it, but in any case . . I like the feel of pushing a button to select something. It’s reassuring and builds confidence.

The buggy beta firmware everyone got to test does not reflect the wholesome goodness of the hardware being used. I work as a QA Engineer and have been a Support Engineer. Trust me when I tell you that I understand the importance of serviceability and expandability. Give”me” the option to replace a dead battery if I either mistreated it (with short charges) or it was faulty. Give “me” the option of being able to have a spare in cases where I can plug in someplace immediately. Give me an option to use either 8GB or 16GB . . AND have the ability to swap one out for another one loaded with whatever (movies, musics, word docs, excel spreadsheets).

Oh yeah, did I get into the ability to “out-of-the-box” open a Word doc attached to an email? No hunting through the app store to find something to open it (which btw has a lot of useless crap on it if your a business user).

Don’t really understand why everyone is going off about firmware features. Let’s face it, we all should know by now that a firmware upgrade is only a few clicks away for either platform. It was no surprise that Apple releases 2.2 the same day the Storm came out. A company wouldn’t intentionally do that if they didn’t feel at least a little threatened.

So, why have the iPod Touch? iPod integration into commercial products . . not iPhone . . iPod. The iPhone just inherited the consumer product support the iPod already has. The portable speaker set and my car stereo both had “Made for iPod” written right on the box.

Some old school Crackberry lovers out there will still like the actual buttons better (especially the ones that had full QWERTY keyboards). For those that come over from the Pearl (which I owned before the Curve) it will be a much easier transition to use it in the portrait mode. The problems most people have with SureType is they don’t trust the BB to figure it out. After just 2 days on the Storm, I would say that “I” am now faster on it than I was on either my Pearl or my Curve. The reason, I have a choice. I can trust the SureType for most short messages (SMS or IM) but I prefer the full QWERTY keyboard in landscape mode for long emails.

In summary, if you’re a business person that really needs “portable” email and you don’t have the money to get both . . get the Storm. You’ll lose out on wifi (which you have a laptop for), a better music application and a slew of great games. If you’re the guy who doesn’t really need to keep up on work emails day and night and can only afford one, but are willing to deal with AT$T then get the iPhone. AND finally, if you can afford to get a really capable touch screen phone and messaging tool as well as a really capable touch screen music player and gaming device . . why not get a Storm and an iPod Touch? Hey, in this economy, both companies could use your hard earned dollars to continue to nurture a competitive environment in which all of the consumers (us) get to benefit.

  17. SAP, Oracle provide full support to iPhone and iPhone has become the favorite among business users. I myself am a SAP consultant I have an app worth $449 to use SAP on my iPhone. BB can not do this even in dream.Blackberry will say we have MMS. lol.

iPhone has one app that costs over $900 and people are buying it coz its meant for business users

but BB is mere 200 dollar poor men’s touch toy which is not capable of doing anything but MMS. Funny part is that they are really trying hard to highlight this feature(?)

iPhone is BMW Z8 and Storm is Hyundai that too with flat tires.
iPhone is epitome of indomitable interface excellence.

What’s so big about affording a cheap Storm I bought iPhone when it over $450. But why should i Pay even a penny for crap like Storm which wont do VoIP which wont work in Plane which displays merely 56,000 colors which has jagged touch screen.

There is one practical problem, which Storm user are facing though not telling. When you type the letter goes blue under your finger so you can’t see what are you typing without seeing the screen and and there is a small lag there so it becomes really difficult to type. On iphone when you type the letter magnifies above your finger so you can clearly see what key you have pressed. It’s so amazing BB cant even think of these kind of details.

As I said I am SAP consultant I use Mac so how can anybody say Mac is not for business user in fact MAC is way better than a PC. But I understand most of Storm users buy PC for 299 from Walmart on Black Friday.

    @Stan Duffy

If you can afford to ……Afford??????? its just a 200 dollar simple phone what to afford? It doen’t have expensive app like iPhone. iPhone has many app that costs over $400.
So if YOU can afford , buy an iPhone. IF you can afford buy an Apple computer that costs over $2,000. Storm looks good with PC and Hyundai Car. iphone goes well with Apple’s MacBook Pro and BMW Z8.

    Capable Touchscreen????

I didnt know few people think “capable” is synonym for “choppy”

Even Samsung Stink I mean instinct has better touch screen than Storm.

I head one BB Storm user is yelling he has MMS.

  19. Stan Duffy says:

Mr. Akhauri, I’m not sure whether your real first name is Aryan, Rohit or Raj. You can certainly earn more credibility if you use the same name all the time. And we really don’t need to see what you wrote TWICE. Is that a digital stutter or is your Mac giving you problems?

I have another question for you, are you on Apple’s Marketing Payroll or are you getting kick backs for every iPhone sold? Not everyone, especially in this economic climate can afford a $200 phone (or $450 in your case) and the phone services that go with it. You certainly don’t help Apple’s cause by making some of these people think they have to buy a $200 phone AND a $400 app. Careful, you might loss that Marketing job.

Do you own a Storm (I know stupid question right?) The answer is obvious . . NO. So I’m guessing you haven’t seen it since the new update was done. No it’s not as quick in transitions as the iPhone/iPod Touch, but it’s close. I think the navigation on the iStuff is better, but I’ve owned my iPod Touch for a few months and still can’t type email and text as fast as I can on my Storm in just 2 days of owning it.

Again you’re talking about firmware, that can be upgraded. I didn’t bash either product, I prefer my Storm for my communications device and I prefer my iPod Touch for my entertainment device.

Both of the iPhone and Storm have different strengths, so different things will be important to different people. I gave my opinion on the 2 and I’ll continue to standby my statements.

  20. Well, my real name is Rohit. But I like the name Raj and Aryan so I blog using these names too. I am neither on payroll of Apple nor get any kickbacks. I am a gadget freak and love to share my experience with people.

You don’t have to buy expensive for iPhone but if you need then you van buy and in some cases company buys for the managers.

If we meet someday, we will play a game of typing I would like to see how can you type faster on Stom.

Its all over the reviews sites that Storm is a disappointment and a great touch screen phone only if not compared with iPhone so there is nothing to prove. Apple always brings new technology with greatest possible quality and thats why I admire this company.

Look at the new full Aluminum body Macbook Pro. Its not only drop dead gorgeous but it works like Ferrari is running on freeway in Germany where there is no speed limit.

iPhone has all the feature and application that makes it a perfect solution for business needs. And iPhone has cut, copy and paste now. Magic pad is released.

I am sorry for writing same thing twice it was my mistake not my Mac’s.

  21. Jesse Price says:

Blackberry has 3X the amount of shares than apple… Apples been around longer??? Um, rim has been making phones longer???

Seriously, BOTH PHONES ARE EQUAL, GET OVER IT!

Blackberry can do certain things that an iphone can’t, and iphones got shit that blackberry doesn’t. WHO CARES. They are the best smart PHONES (yes, they are just effin phones) out on the market.

  22. Have you seen the growth rate of Apple in Q1 of 2008? Have you read the news that that iPhone became the highest selling phone in US and it has become best selling phone amongst the business users in US?

Sometimes they they say Storm has MMS(is it a feature?) sometimes they say BB has 3X amount of share. sometimes they it was bad now its good after updates….what happened you people. Why are so frustrated and confused? because of Storm’s failure?

I understand, Storm is a fiasco.

Can Storm ever imagine of having an app that costs $900?
Companies like SAP and Oracle are giving full support to iPhone interface.

I gave many reason why Storm can not stand in front of iPhone but Storm lovers could not give one reason. They are just saying “who cares”.

All those cares who admire quality in life.

And there is not even one thing that Storm does and iPhone doesn’t …i know ..he will yell….mms…mms…mms

RIM, send your engineers to Apple research center and learn some new technology then make a phone.

    And RIM I don’t hate you I just don’t like Ch.K companies,
is Hyuandai a car? I don’t think so.
Can a country be superpower with millions of people starving to death everyday?

RIM, you are not one of those so I don’t hate you but I hate to see you making a substandard phone like Storm. Come on I know you can do better than that.

RIM has to go back to basic. Learn 4 P’s of marketing special focus on Positioning and SWOT analysis. Archos 5 is the victim of bad positioning.
Then go through Maslow theory of need special focus on Self Esteem needs. Then do the assessment what went wrong with Storm.

  23. Alessandro Mannino says:

All i want to say is that after a day (monday) of my brother being on the phone with verizon, because they promised him friday to send him a storm by tuesday, so he calls in monday to check up on it and see where it was up to and they told him there is no way they could get the phone to him by tuesday and he would have to wait till December 5th or 15th. so he just told them to forget about it and he didnt want it any more.. well wednesday morning the doorbell rings and its the fedex guy with the storm from verizon.. we were like WOW they actually did have one! so he switched his number to it and after a day, decided to go back to his curve because the texting is slow and it doesn’t always switch to landscape mode when typing, even after shaking it and turning it on and off. then he said he just didnt like it, like the whole thing was slow and choppy and he just liked his curve more. So even an older blackberry beats the curve? pretty sad…

  24. nope says:

Just got a storm. Had an iPhone. Storm is better in the fact that the internet is faster, way better at multitasking, and blackberry and verizon offer new updates and apps for free so i dont have to pay those jews at apple for a simple firmware update.

  25. @nope

How many apps does Storm has? lol

Apple gives all updates for free and Apple App store has 10,000 app out of which more than 3,000 apps are free.
Not only that from iPhone you can do unlimited Texting for free.
You can upload any file to iPhone without any wired connection. You can stream webcam on your iPhone from anywhere.
Storms sucks at 56,000 colors what a shame.

iPhone has replaced Blackberry as most admired business phone.

What are u talking about? when has apple charged for firmware up dates????
A lot of the apps are free, and the only reason why you pay for them is because other people or companies are making them… its like saying fuck the PSP or Xbox for making us pay for the games…

before making your self sound so stupid, get your facts right.. now it sounds like u bull shited the whole part about having and iphone… fucken idiot…

  27. Alessandro Mannino says:

oh and the blackberry doesn’t offer even close to 10,000 apps and more are being made everyday for the iphone… and most of the apps an everyday person uses are free like radios, shazam, AIM, facebook, etc.

  28. OK, I demonstrated the Storm at the local Verizon with the shitty firmware and guess what, when turning the phone vertically and horizontally, the storm outperformed iphone. Also, you cannot turn for the full keyboard when text messaging with iphone?! C MON! this is a MUST! Also, what’s with no video recording with iPhones?

I’m sorry to say, I’ve done enough research by playing with my brothers iphone, my cousin’s iphone, and going to the verizon store to demo the storm with bad firmware…

Also, when “accidentally” tapping on the iphone, it will input data… on the Storm, you have to physically press the screen down… I LOVE THIS FEATURE! It helps to prevent mistakes!

    I loved the Storm, final!

However, I wouldn’t mind the iPhone since it has WI-FI… however for my personal use, I would benefit from the Storm. I need faster texting, faster typing, faster browsing, and the Storm has met all or exceeded my expectations! actually, just no wi-fi lol.

  29. Recent survey says 77% iPhone users are extremely satisfied with it and only 33% are satisfied with Storm. Verdict is out Storm has flunked.

And who said you cannot switch to landscape mode while texting you must be ignorant. It has quick SMS and also another app for SMS that let you switch to landscape mode.

And we dont need to pay for SMS these things are free on iPhone you can do unlimited texting to any cell phone in US for absolutely free.

Search anything on the map or contact by voice command.

Swing your iPhone like a Golf bat the ball will fly on your computer screen without any connection.
You can transfer video, any document, songs to iPhone without syncing to iTunes or any wire connection.

Stream webcam from your business or office to anywhere in US on iPhone. Control your music speakers in entire house from an iPhone.

You guys are living in pre historic era you dont even know the power of super high tech gadget.

You cannot accidental type on iPhone coz you have slide it on. Hyundai drivers often say I don’t like BMW Z8 you can accidently go over speed limit coz has super fast engine thats why I like Hyundai

iPhone users dont want video recorder nobody wants crappy video recording from a phone. iPhone is capable of controlling all the computers remotely this is what we want.

We can create MS Excel spreadsheet with all the formulas.

I can create Keynote presentation right on iPhone and give a presentation connecting iPhone to projector. I can stream music off my computer from California even if the computer is in New York. I have entire office on my iPhone. Anytime I can view them or edit them.

No wonder SAP and Oracle are going crazy for iPhone. iPhone has been voted as the most favorite phone among business users.

You can call anybody through VoIP in the entire world while flying in an Airplane from an iPhone but Storm users will just be looking at the frozen screen if it coz it doesn’t have VoIP. What a shame?
Only 56,000 colors to display? Is Storm even deserves to be called a smartphone? iPhone displays over 200,000 colors. You will notice a stark difference when you see high resolution photos.

You can download unlimited video podcast anywhere anytime right from you iPhone.

To fellow iPhone users: In January, HP is bringing a free app that will let you print anything right off your iPhone on Wi-Fi. So you can carry all your document on iPhone and anytime if need hardcopy just print it out.

ohhhhh yaaaa i heard some body yelling …Storm has MMS…and removable battery lol

Have fun with removing battery and clicking the jagged and choppy screen till it freezes. We iPhone users don’t need to do it.
