The word coming in is that the launch of Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Storm on Verizon has been a raging success, although we at present do not have any official confirmation from RIM or Verizon.
The word is the Verizon BlackBerry Storm is sold out virtually everywhere and Verizon’s online store is buckling under the heavy load of BlackBerry Storm wannabies.
This sounds like Research In Motion’s BlackBerry baby is a winner, and we’ll just have to wait and see just how big a winner the Storm will be, could it be as big a success as the Apple iPhone? Is the BlackBerry Storm actually the illusive “iPhone killer”?
