Apparently, going by a report from Mobile developer Handheld Games Corp, mobile game 3D TouchSports Tennis has noticeable differences between the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod Touch models and as a result they had to optimise the game to run on every device.

The differences is the two differing processors, the Apple iPhone, Apple iPhone 3G and Apple iPod Touch run 412MHz while the 2nd Gen Apple iPod Touch runs 532MHz. But the differences on the game stem beyond this processor change as similarly clocked models show.

According to Mobile developer Handheld Games Corp, the fastest game player is the 2nd Gen iPod Touch closely followed by the Apple iPhone 3G, and thus suggest to any serious mobile gamer not to consider the 1st Gen iPod Touch.
