AT&T is stepping up offers in the run up to Christmas, like offering two for one deal in an attempt to increase mobile phone sales. The AT&T two for one, or buy one get one free deal is a great way to get a new mobile phone for yourself and at the same time getting a free handset to use as a Christmas gift.

Currently the 2 for 1 at AT&T is a Samsung Propel handset and a Pantech Matrix handset, but as with all deals there is a catch of course. In the case of the 2 for 1 deal you have to sign a two year AT&T contract with a $35.00 monthly charge.

How it works is you pay $129.99 for the first mobile phone whereby you receive a $50.00 AT&T promo card after a mail in rebate which brings it down to $79.99 with a 2 year agreement at $35.00 per month and for the free handset you pay $49.99 and get a $50.00 AT&T promo card.
