Flash based global web video service Joost has launched Joost for the Apple iPhone, a free app which is now available via the Apple iTunes App Store and enables iPhoners to enjoy thousands of movies, dramas, comedy, scifi, documentaries, anime, and sports, all over a WiFi connection.

Joost for the Apple iPhone and Apple iPod ouch is ad supported and offers the iPhoner a choice of ways to watch on Joost like selecting most popular videos, watching “our picks”, specific video search, and browsing by category.

Joost for the Apple iPhone has available more than 18,000 music videos, 1,200 movies and short films, 400 TV series, and in total in excess of 46,000 videos and offers content via more than 300 partners globally.
