The two latest future offerings from Motorola, the Alexander and Atila smartphones are apparently “under construction” by Compal Communications, but both these handsets do look that attractive to me, but maybe that’s just me.
A Commercial Ties report states “Compal Communications has received orders for two Windows Mobile-based PDA phones,” which are of course the Atila and Alexander for Motorola.
The report also states that both smartphones were due to be shipped in Q4 of 08, but has now been altered to Q1 of 09, and no specific reason for this delay has been given. But then like most of Motorola’s mobile phones these days, the Atila and Alexander will probable sink into the debris pile unless Motorola give them extra special features that attract.
