Nokia Home Control Center can heat up your home

Nokia has partnered with RWE, a European energy company to manage heating systems via the Nokia Home Control Center which is a wireless router that can interface with home equipment, and are hoping other companies will sign on.

Nokia has been showing off the Nokia Home Control Center at Nokia World in Barcelona and hopes to have the system on store shelves sometime near the end of 09.

The Nokia Home Control Center is based on the open Linux platform which includes numerous wireless technologies that allow the user to remotely connect via their smartphone or PC. Furthermore the Nokia Home Control Center incorporates 6GB of storage and can apparently work out when conditions change if auto-function is set by the user.

    Nokia is a world giant in mobile technology and nothing less than a great technology is expected from it. This is so awsome, you can expect controlling whole of the house by a small mobile… great.
