For all you Nokia fans out there in Nokia land, Nokia has released the latest version of Nokia Maps; Nokia Maps 3.0 beta is a free download incorporating several improvements and new features.

As Nokia Maps 3.0 is still in beta there are still a few bugs, one of which is compatibility with the Nokia N96, and therefore Nokia doesn’t recommend Nokia Maps 3.0 beta for the N96.

Also at present Nokia Maps 3.0 beta only works on Nokia handsets that run Symbian S60 3dr Edition Feature Pack 2, so anyone running Feature Pack 1 will have a wait ahead. Nokia Maps is also available via Nokia Ovi.
