MySpace goes mobile video viewing for free

Under: News Date: December 4th, 2008

Mobile phone packing MySpace users can now watch TV while they are out roaming because News Corp’s online social network is to make video clips on MySpace member’s web pages available to mobile phones including the BlackBerry Bold, Nokia N95, Samsung Instinct, LG Voyager, Motorola Q9 and the Palm Centro.

Furthermore, mobile MySpace members will be able to view videos on their own homepages as well as their friend’s pages, along with professional videos from TMZ, which is the celeb news and gossip website.

The free service is to be advert supported, and MySpace has declined to comment on just how much the project will cost or now much profit is in it for MySpace.
