The Nokia N95 may be getting on a bit but it has just received a much needed firmware update which brings it up to v31. Besides the version number though there isn’t a great deal known about what is being overhauled with this 140MB update.

The word is there are bug fixes and possible the closing of hack vulnerabilities, but even that is speculation. So if any of our readers are packing a Nokia N95, yes there’s no need to be embarrassed, drop us a line if you grab the upgrade.

Apparently the Nokia N85 is getting the same deal with a v11 refresh which addresses key handling for missed keys, various power tweaks, short and long presses on the hotkeys, and various others to do with issues with video calling.
