You will be able to pick up your very own Apple iPhone at WalMart sometime in December according to five members of staff in the retailers mobile phone department. This will be the second large retail chain to sell the iPhone after Best Buy started selling the Apple device in September.

All five staff at WalMart told a reporter from Bloomberg that they were being trained in selling the Apple iPhone.

Before September, telecoms giant AT&T were the only place apart from Apple itself that you could get the iPhone.

It’s also been tipped off to BoyGeniusReport that Apple are manufacturing a 4GB iPhone 3G and that will be sold in WalMart for just $99, you will also get a two year contract with the iPhone. However WalMart or Apple has yet to comment on the rumour.
