It appears that some early buyers of the Google Android T-Mobile G1 have been unable to get T-Mobile into sending them the replacement jack for the official HTC inline headphones adapter for the G1.

Well apparently, the reason T-Mobile is reluctant to send out a replacement is due to the fact that T-Mobile is currently selling the HTC inline headphones replacement adaptor for $9.99.

Android Community member LordKurgan went to a T-Mobile store and was informed by the store rep that the official HTC inline headphones replacement adaptor had only been released today. So this could well be the reason G1ers aren’t having any headway with T-Mobile sending a replacement.
