The Garmin Nuvifone is not dead, its just kicking round the FCC, and we may well get to actually see a release of this long coming mobile phone roughly a year after it was first mentioned.
The Nuvifone will be the first mobile phone from Garmin and will be a full touch handset which is named after Garmin’s Nuvi Navigation system which made headline back in January.
A few other details on the Garmin Nuvifone are it will feature built in GPS, a 3.5 inch touchscreen, geo-tagging enabled camera, HSDPA 850/1900MHz, and a web browser. Although so far there is still no word on an official launch date or any price.
