SlingPlayer Mobile for BlackBerry will officially enter its public beta stage by December the 30th for the BlackBerry Bold, BlackBerry Pearl 8120, 8220 and 8820 and the BlackBerry Curve 8320 and 8900.

SlingPlayer Mobile gives BlackBerry users the ability to control and watch their home TV and DVR via their Slingbox on their BlackBerry handset.

A WiFi or 3G connection is strongly suggested, and the BlackBerry OS 4.5 is a must have, and a PC on your home network with SlingPlayer 2.0 for Windows, make sure you have all the requirements if you want to use SlingPlayer via your BlackBerry smartphone as of the 30th.
