Mobile Firefox also known as Fennec is apparently almost ready for Symbian S60 users as the Mobile Firefox team is already working with Symbian engineers and the plan is for Mobile Firefox to hit Symbian S60 by April of next year.

The word is the Mobile Firefox team has been working on Symbian whilst on other platforms, but it wouldn’t surprise if Symbian gains the more attention as Symbian is the smartphone platform with the biggest number of sales.

Although the Fennec projected launch is April 09 for a full browsing version, there will apparently be a basic limited browser planned for February 09. So Symbian users keep your eyes peeled for Mobile Firefox for Symbian early next year.
