Apple iPhone app gets Vatican seal of approval

Under: Apple iPhone, News Date: December 23rd, 2008

Looks like the Apple iPhone has just received holy approval as the Vatican is endorsing the Apple iPhone technology which brings the book of prayers to priests via the Apple iPhone with iBreviary for iPhone.

The Vatican’s Pontifical Council for Social Communications has embraced iBreviary which is an Apple iPhone application created by an Italian priest and an Italian web designer.

iBreviary for the Apple iPhone brings the Breviary book of prayer to priestly iPhoners in several languages and includes the prayers of the daily Mass along with others. An official version of iBreviary for the iPhone was launched earlier this month at a cost of 0.79 Euros after a trial version was downloaded 10,000 times in Italy.
