Seems the big thing to be in these days is Google Android as everyone seems to be jumping aboard the Android ship and preparing their own Android smartphone for release.

This time round its SatNav big name Garmin, we know they joined the Open Handset Alliance earlier, and now whispers are being heard that Garmin is thinking on a virgin Android offering sometime next year.

Having said that, if an Android takes as long as a Nuvifone to product and launch its doubtful we’ll be seeing a Garmin Android smartphone this side of the Olympics. Is the Garmin Nuvifone out yet anyone?

Maybe before Garmin consider an Android they’d better put some navigation into getting their Nuvifone out there first!
