Apple iPhone gains XRoad G-Map alternative navigation

Now there is an alternative for the iPhoner who has grown tired of using Google Maps as the primary navigation app on their Apple iPhone, as available at the Apple iPhone iTunes App Store is XRoad’s G-Map app for the iPhone.

The XRoad G-Map app requires no internet connection in order to work but rather stores loads of maps into a 932MB package which takes in most of western America and a few on the east.

XRoad G-Map for the Apple iPhone provides POI editing; location searching, memo capabilities and most other things associated with real deal GPS, although some early reviewers are not too happy with the app.
