The word hitting the mobile arena is that Sony Ericsson is looking to shift away from mobile phone manufacturer HTC for making Sony Ericsson Windows Mobile 6.1 handsets such as the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1.
Apparently according to a Chinese newspaper, Sony Ericsson is about to say bye-bye to HTC and link up with Mobinnova with a view to creating the next generation Sony Ericsson Xperia.
Not sure why Sony Ericsson is making the move, maybe they like the look of the Mobinnova ICE handset, or maybe there have been some bad talks between Sony Ericsson and HTC, but it does look like HTC will not be making any more Sony Ericsson mobile handsets.
Who knows what we may see come from a Sony Ericsson and Mobinnova team-up!
