Motorola preparing low-end clam W530 for China

Under: Motorola, News
Date: December 25th, 2008

Motorola is apparently working on a new low end clamshell mobile phone which is called the Motorola W530 and the word is the Motorola W530 is to be made available in the ever expanding lucrative Chinese market.

There’s not a great deal of word about the Motorola W530, but so far what we have been hearing it it’s quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, a 1.3 megapixel camera, 220 x 176 resolution internal display, FM radio, 20MB memory and a microSD.

Presumably there will be some type of music player in there along with an assortment of apps. And that’s about it, we’ll let you know about price and availability as and when we find out.
