The Nokia 5800 XpressMusic touchscreen smartphone has just been given a firmware update to v11.0.008, and has a huge change list.

v11.0.008 for the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic is available via Nokia’s Software Update application and deals with overall stability and bug fixes.

Some of the highlights of v11.0.008 are… browser fixes for flash, messaging application crashes, Google search fix, fixes for the music player. As with all firmware updates, make sure you back up your stuff before installing, follow the instructions carefully, although it should feature User Data Preservation, but one can never be too careful.
