There appears to be yet another version of the BlackBerry Storm operating system available online, this time it is version 4.7.0.87 and can now be downloaded if you want it.

It seems the BlackBerry Storm is receiving OS update after update at a rate of knots these days, which just happened to reinforce my question as to why do these suppliers push out a mobile handset that is so much in dire need of constant updating?

Anyway usual precautions should be taken as with all unofficial OS updates or risk losing your handset operation and data. Back up your stuff and hope all goes well.
