So what type of battery does the new Palm Pre use, does it have its own special type of battery? Well according to Dieter Bohn of PreCentral, the Palm Pre will sport exactly the same battery as the Palm Treo 800w and the Palm Centro.

Which means the Palm Pre will have an 1150mAh battery inside; which also powers the Android T-Mobile G1 by the way.

However, according to Pecketable, a Palm representative told their Jenn at CES that the Palm Pre uses a 1200mAh battery, so which is it, a 11500mAh or a 1200mAh, anyone out there know for sure?
