There now appears to be a new three-in-one external rechargeable barrier for the Apple iPhone 3G from USBFever, and we have a video demonstration of it in action below.

Judging by the video the unit comprises of three pieces that click together around your Apple iPhone 3G and acts as a protective case as well as charging the iPhone.

Yeah it may add a little weight and thickness to your Apple iPhone 3G but it still keeps the overall look of the unit and apparently unlike other external batteries it lets you sync to PC or Mac while the external battery is still in use.
