The RIM BlackBerry Storm is coming to India announced Vodafone and will be available in India from Vodafone India as of the 15th of January and will carry a price tag of RS. 27,990, which is roughly $574.00.
Not earth shattering news but what is surprising is that in India, Vodafone had opted to pitch the BlackBerry Storm at less than the BlackBerry Bold which is on sale in India for RS. 35,000.
This of course could be due to Vodafone taking a leaf out of the Apple iPhone 3G launch and going with subsidising the RIM BlackBerry Storm for India.
