Samsung F268 is greenest mobile in world say Greenpeace

Under: News, Samsung Date: January 19th, 2009

The word is from those environmentally minded people at Greenpeace that the Samsung F268 is the greenest mobile phone on the planet, a big claim to green fame, which one hopes Greenpeace can back up without question.

Apparently the Samsung F268 rated better than the Nokia 3110 Evolve, the Sony Ericsson C905, the Motorola V9 and the LG KT520 and the research results where published in the Greenpeace report “Green Electronics: The Search Continues.”

The Samsung F268 doesn’t contain toxic substances like PVC while components don’t have brominated flame resistant additives, and meets all the requirements of the certification Energy Star, the criteria set by the US Environment Agency.
