The Palm Pre isn’t available yet and there are already moves to jailbreak the Pre for loading alternate platforms and the highest on the jailbreaking OS list is Google Android.

And word has it that the Android toting Palm Pre is a little closer as the route to changing the webOS to Android begins with porting the new OS to the OMAP 3 system followed by a 2 stage bootloading and further tinkering.

And apparently Android has already been ported to OMAP 3 by OmapZoom team. It is suggested that the USB MASS Stroage mode could allow hackers to place Android in the user storage section and then point the initial bootloader at those files.
