Android T-Mobile G1 can boot up you PC

Under: Google Android, News Date: January 23rd, 2009

The modern mobile phone can be used for many things these days and not simply voice calls or texting. Now it appears you can use the Google Android T-Mobile G1 smartphone to boot up your computer as well.

Yep it’s true, the guys over at Logical Tech have come up with a way of connecting the T-Mobile G1 handset to a computer as a bootable USB drive, and have also posted a cool guide on just how to accomplish it.

To achieved this all one has to do is insert a microSD into the G1…then connect the G1 to the computer as a USB device…install UBCDfix2.exe…download Ultimate Boot CD to the UBCD folder on your desktop…then run the fixubcd2 bat file within UBCD folder…got it?
