Some have said that Windows Mobile wouldn’t fit the space between Windows Mobile 6.1 and 7, well Microsoft is due to release Windows Mobile 6.5 to the manufactures and OEMs.
A couple of enhancements with 6.5 are, new Lockscreen, MCTOUCH, sliding panel home screen and IE MOBILE 6.
Apparently it has been released for the now deleted HTC Blue Angel otherwise known as the O2 XDA IIs and Imate PDA2K. It appears the sliding panel concept is now being implemented for Windows Mobile 6.5 for Windows Mobile Pro handsets.
