Australia’s Telstra is to bring the HTC Touch HD Windows Mobile 6.1 smartphone to its portfolio, and will be available in Australia as of the 10th of February.

The HTC Touch HD WVGA touchscreen handset will be exclusive to Telstra stores and dealers and commands a non-contract price tag of $1499.00, which by the way is way too expensive.

Although Telstra will have plans of a free HTC Touch HD handset with a $150.00 member plan with repayment option of $62.45 per month over 2 years, which isn’t that bad a deal considering you end up with one of the most sought-after handsets available today.
