If you are a BlackBerry owner the last thing you want is your kid playing with it and this is where LeapFrog comes into play with their kid’s Text and Learn handset.

With LeapFrog’s new Text and Learn handset, children can have the feel of a device much like your BlackBerry and gives them the feel of email with the risk of sending an email to your boss.

Text and Learn has a full QWERTY keyboard with a large LCD screen and gives the child “pretend text messages” to LeapFrog’s puppy character although the device can’t actually connect to the net. Text and Learn from LeapFrog should be available in August with a price tag of £19.99
