T-Mobile to launch Android G2 phone this year

There have been several assumptions that a new Google Android G2 mobile phone is on its way, but there has been some speculations to if T-Mobile will carry another Android smartphone.

Well now, during a Fierce Wireless interview, T-Mobile USA’s VP of engineering and operations, Neville Ray, unveiled some of T-Mobile USA’s 2009 plans.

Ray said that during 2009 T-Mobile plans on a significant number of HSPA capable smartphones, and T-Mobile will be launching more G phones along with other products. So one can figure on seeing a T-Mobile G2 sometime this year.

Yeah….it’s called the HTC Hero and spyshots are already out. It will not have a physical keyboard and it will be almost as ugly as the G1……sooooo, what’s the point? I think I’d rather have a G1 because at least it has a frikkin physical keyboard. I will probably get a BB Storm or wait for someone to make a better Android phone that has a good keyboard and doesn’t look like a fat, ugly, beta/concept version of an iPhone.

Don’t get the BB storm is rubbish!!! It may look good and have some wicked features but its not all its hyped up to be!
I think the only thing the G1 needs improving upon which will still have one up on an iPhone is a flash for the camera!! thats a big thing in my eyes!!!
there are loads of ‘leaked’ photos on the internet of the G2 but they are all different I guess we shall just have to wait and see when its released! x
