Slingplayer Mobile currently supports most mobile phone running Windows Mobile, Palm OS and Symbian and the recently released BlackBerry beta supports select BlackBerry smartphones while Slingplayer for the Apple iPhone is due in Q1 09.

So two other platforms is still left out in the cold, Android and Palm’s new webOS, however a posting over at Sling Community gives some light as to the future of Sling Media.

According to MegaZone, Android is the next logical platform for Slingplayer as many manufactures are looking to offer android handsets in the future. Palm’s webOS on the other hand is still quite new and thus not as attractive as android.
