Crackulous for iPhone strips App Store protection from apps

Under: Apple iPhone, Phone Software Date: February 2nd, 2009

There’s a new software cracking tool that just may be able to crack the protection from most applications that are downloaded from Apple’s App Store.

The beta software is via Cydia and called Crackulous and claims to be able to strip away the protection of most of the Apple iTunes App Store apps.

Of course you’ll need a jailbroken Apple iPhone to load Crackulous, and obviously you won’t be seeing Crackulous at the Apple App Store. Seeings how ease the Pawnage Tool is easy to use to jailbreak an iPhone maybe we’ll be seeing quite a few apps being cracked by iPhoners in the future.
