Back in December of 08 the FCC pushed through the Samsung SPH-W7100 mobile phone, and although there are only a few details available we are beginning to find out just what the Samsung SPH-W7100 has to offer.

Apparently the Samsung SPH-W7100 will be Samsung’s first handset to “offer the SOS function with a ring, rather than a button, for ease of use.”

The Samsung SPH-W7100 safety phone has been designed with women and children in mind and can emit an alarm along with sending out location laced SMS to numbers of choice thus alerting those numbers of the apparent danger.
