Virgin Canada lowers BlackBerry Curve 8330 to $49

Canadians received a bit of a punch from Virgin last week by way of an increase in price plans of a whopping 17 percent which equates to roughly an extra $5.00 per month. However after this depressing news, Virgin pulls a shot to renew customer trust.

The shot is Virgin is now offering the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 at the lowest price available and now sits at $39.99 with a three year agreement.

The big three in Canada had the BlackBerry Curve 8330 on the lowest price at $49. But since then have increase the handset price due to stock shortage, and thus now Bell, Telus and Rogers offer the Curve 8330 for around $100.
